PLAYING SONOMA COUNTY
Jen has also performed at local festivals including Rivertown Revival in Petaluma, Woody Guthrie 100th Birthday Jubliee and the Handcar Regatta in Railroad Square, Freestone Fermentation Festival in Occidental, Roots Americana in Courthouse Square and The North Bay Hootenanny at Arlene Francis Center.
It was nearly two decades later while living on a Sonoma County vineyard when Jen rediscovered her music and began performing live in Occidental every Friday in 2009.
A FAMILY TRADITION OF FOLK MUSIC
In August of 2014 Jen reunited with the heros of her childhood. This all star cast included her dad Craig Petersen, her uncle Mad Dog Mark (now Santa Mark) and close family friends Tom Yeaser and Bob Kassouf. These were the men who inspired Jen to play music as a kid, perform live and write her own songs, so she too could join in the family hootenannys.
